I live here in Las Vegas NV and have been in sales for the past 7 years my question is do I stay in sales with the up鈥檚 and down鈥檚 or go for a secure career in education if any one has personal experience here in Las Vegas in Sales or Teaching please give me your opinion, Thank you.Career change in Las Vegas NV advise needed Sales or Teaching?
You gotta enjoy kids and be able to handle them in order to be a teacher. If you have that temperament go for the security. Yea, you can make good commissions in sales, but as you get older health insurance and retirement become more important - health insurance from a teachers union can usually go with you - and you know when you will have vacations. You could always teach adult night school to supplement the fixed income if need be.
