Yes, tennessee has attorneys who can help you, but can you give us a hint what the legal issue is? I may be able to be of more help if I knew the type of case it is. It depends on your income level and your problem.
In my town, only serious criminal matters or family law issues get an attorney's advice. For summary conviction, or minor criminal matters, you can sometimes get student legal assistance.
The cutoff for Legal Aid here is an income of around $12000 yearly.
Try your local legal aid office or referal services .... some medical facilities have lawyers that do simple wills and stuff by referal ...... I know if its a Fatal issue ';Hospice'; can assist you.
