So the whole question is that I have a 2005 Altima SE-R and a 1999 BMW Z3 and I can only keep one. And the Altima has my vote except for its horrible gas millage. Is there anyway to fix the gas millage? And help with my decision?I have a 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R and the only problem I have with it is the gas millage. Any advise on a fix?
The Altima should be betting better gas mileage than your Z3. It all depends on how you drive it. The tendency with a SE-R is to be in throttle a little too much, of course causing your mileage to go down. With careful driving, you should be seeing at least 24 mpg combined city/hwy.
I also like the SE-R more than the Z3.I have a 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R and the only problem I have with it is the gas millage. Any advise on a fix?
Routine maintainence is the best answer without seeing it. Check tires, change oil, air filter, check alignment, plugs/wires.
let off the gas pedal a little it is a horny car!!!!!
